Today, we were able to work in the attic of the Grant's house. They are a missionary couple who have been here for over 11 yrs. The floor in their attic was full of termites and in need of replacement. We removed the old ply wood and putt in new planks of a certain wood that termites don't eat.

Sam (a volunteer from S. California) and Nate in the attic.

Wow! Holy Moly! I can't believe how much I've missed since I last checked your blog in Dec. Where did the time go? It's like we had a baby and finished building a house or something... Anyways, Daniel and I really enjoyed checking out all the great stuff you guys have accomplished so far. You take some really amazing pictures. Thanks so much for sharing your adventures. At least you know your work is not in vain (the blogging I mean). We will keep praying for you both. In Christ, Daniel and Natalie Minnich
Was browsing google images of Shell and came across your blog and pics. My dad built the house you where working on! It is so weird to see the place us kids spent quite a few hours of our lives playing.... Hope you all enjoyed your visit in Shell, we loved living there!
